What I Do
I provide personalized 1:1 and small group reading instruction designed to guide each child along their unique learning journey, building strong, confident readers step by step. Every student has their own strengths and needs, so I create custom lessons that meet them where they are and help them make meaningful progress along the path to literacy.
My compassionate, patient, creative and structured approach supports students with reading challenges—including phonics, decoding, dyslexia, ADHD, and autism—helping them feel capable, motivated, and proud of their progress. I believe that with the right guidance, practice, and encouragement, every child can succeed on their path to becoming a confident reader and writer.

Bachelor’s degree from University of Texas at Austin in General Education (K–5) and Special Education (EC–12)
50+ hours of Orton-Gillingham training through Orton-Gillingham International
7+ years of experience providing evidence-based phonics and writing instruction
500+ hours of 1:1 reading intervention and individualized literacy and writing teaching
Find me walking my dogs, cold plunging in the sound, or paddle boarding all around Seattle in the summer.
Passionate phonics nerd, many of my friends and family members will kindly smile and roll their eyes then they hear “Wait, I know that phonogram/spelling rule/syllable…!!”

Assessment
$200 for 30 minutes to one hour assessment. This is not a diagnosis, but will show you your kids strengths and needs along with a few strategies to get you going along the path to reading
1:1 Tutoring
$80/hour for personalized assessment driven dynamic tutoring. I connect with your child and tailor tutoring to their needs in real time to keep them traveling successfully, and with joy, on the path to reading.
Small Group Tutoring
Price varies depending on groups size. Small groups of 2-4 students who are at a similar level with similar needs with personalized assessment driven dynamic tutoring
